Fraser not expecting swift resolution on Bournemouth future
Ryan Fraser does not expect his Bournemouth future to be resolved until deadline day, claims The Daily Mirror.
The Scotland international has one year left on his current Bournemouth deal and is not interested in renewing with Eddie Howe’s side for the time being.
Fraser is aware of interest from a number of the Premier League’s top-six sides but Bournemouth have not set an asking price for the pint-sized winger.
Arsenal are the frontrunners for Fraser’s signature but the 25-year-old fears a summer-long transfer saga.
Fraser was one of the best players in the Premier League outside the top-six sides last season and Bournemouth would be reluctant to lose him this summer.
This is illustrated by the fact only Eden Hazard (15) registered more assists than Fraser (14) in Europe’s top five leagues last season, while the Bournemouth ace created the most clear-cut goalscoring opportunities in the Premier League in 2018/19 (28).
