Bale poised for lucrative £1m-a-week China deal

Real Madrid outcast Gareth Bale is closing in on a blockbuster move to China where he will become one of the best-paid players in the world, claims The Daily Telegraph.

Bale is deemed surplus to requirements by Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane and the Spanish giants are desperately trying to offload the Wales international before the start of the new season.

Madrid have failed to attract any suitors from Europe and now Bale is in talks with Chinese Super League outfit Jiangsu Suning.

Bale’s camp are in negotiations about a three-year deal that would see their client pocket eye-watering wages in excess of £1m-a-week.

The 30-year-old still has three years left to run on his current £600,000-a-week Madrid deal but Zidane is forcing the Welshman out of the club.

Beijing Guoan have also made their interest in Bale clear but look set to miss out on his signature to Jiangsu Suning, who have until Wednesday to complete a deal.

Bale has won the Champions League four times with Madrid and played a direct hand in 144 goals in 195 league and European matches since joining Los Blancos in the summer of 2013.
