Raiola reveals where Ibrahimovic wants to end his career
Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola has revealed the Manchester United striker wants to end his career with Napoli.
The former Sweden international joined United on a free transfer in the summer on an initial one-year contract with an option to a further way 12 months.
Ibrahimovic, who will be 35 next month, has made a flying start to life in Manchester but has allegedly had his eyes on Napoli since 2005.
“At [Ciro] Ferrara’s farewell match, Ibrahimovic told me he wanted to end his career at Napoli,” Raiola said on Radio Crc, via Football Italia.
“I won’t tell you if [president Aurelio] De Laurentiis called me for Ibra. What I can say is that none of the Italian clubs could afford Zlatan. Ibra definitely has a Neapolitan mentality though.”
Ibrahimovic is the joint top goalscorer in the Premier League this season, level with Diego Costa and Michail Antonio on four goals.
