Arsenal to offer former Chelsea man Premier League return in January
Arsenal will relaunch a bid to bring Juan Cuadrado back to the Premier League in January, according to The Mirror.
The Colombian only signed a permanent deal at Juventus in the summer following two seasons on loan put an end to an unproductive spell at Chelsea.
However, Wenger has not been perturbed by the winger’s difficulties in making the grade at Stamford Bridge - the likes of Lukaku and De Bruyne have done OK since they left after all - and is understandably keen to add to his wide options.
The Gunners are thought to have given up on their bid to sign Thomas Lemar, and with Oxlade-Chamberlain sold to Liverpool and Alexis Sanchez’s contract winding down their options are limited.
Cuadrado could certainly be open to a move after Max Allegri brought in the likes of Douglas Costa and Federico Bernadeschi in the summer, although the 29-year-old has started twice in the league this season, scoring in a 4-2 win at Genoa.
Since he returned to Serie A, having impressed with the likes of Lecce and Fiorentina prior to a move to England, the South American has scored 7 league goals and registered 11 assists from 39 starts and 21 substitute appearances.
