Arsenal have announced striker Danny Welbeck will be out for ‘a period of months’ after undergoing knee surgery.
Welbeck, 20, hasn’t featured for Arsenal since April and had been working hard over the summer in a bid to avoid going under the knife.
However, the England international has failed to recover and is now unlikely to turn out for Arsenal until the turn of the year.
