Fulham have announced a stunning deal for Atletico Madrid forward Luciano Vietto on a season-long loan deal.
Vietto has been given the greenlight to join Fulham after Atletico confirmed a deal to sign AC Milan striker Nikola Kalinic.
Fulham have been one of the busiest sides on deadline day, bolstering their squad in all areas of the pitch.
The Cottagers have made a number of eye-catching signings throughout the summer and have bolstered their offensive options with the arrival of Vietto.
“I’m very happy to come to the club and sign. I’m very excited to get started with the team tomorrow,” he told the club’s official website.
“It’s an important change for me because this is my first experience here in England. I hope to do as well as possible.”
The 24-year-old has spent the last three years at Atletico after emerging as a real prospect in La Liga but has lost his way since then.
Vietto has never started 15 games in a single-league campaign for Atletico and spent the second half of last season on loan at Valencia.
The Argentine striker only scored two goals in 20 appearances for Atletico and Valencia last season and will hope to kickstart his career at Fulham.
