Juventus to make January move for Manchester United target
Juventus want to sign Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey and hope to reach a pre-contract agreement in January, claims The Daily Mail.
Ramsey has entered the final 12 months of his existing Arsenal contract and the Gunners have already tabled their best offer to the Welshman.
The 27-year-old is now destined to leave Arsenal in January for a cut-price fee or for nothing when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Manchester United and Liverpool are keen on signing Ramsey but now face serious competition from Juventus, who will be free to agree a summer deal at the start of next year.
Juventus have a track record of signing big name players on free transfers, having done so with the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Emre Can, Dani Alves and Paul Pogba in the past.
Since the start of last season, only Alexandre Lacazette (24) has played a direct hand in more Premier League goals for Arsenal than Ramsey (19).
