Liverpool open to offers for star striker

Liverpool are willing to listen to offers of £25m for injured star Daniel Sturridge, according to the Sunday Mirror.

The England international has struggled with injuries over the last two years and is now fighting to save his Liverpool career with Jurgen Klopp already looking to find a potential replacement for Christian Benteke.

Liverpool are still hopeful that Sturridge can overcome his injury woes to become their main man once again, but are now planning for the very real possibility that he will never rediscover his best form and fitness.

The 26-year-old has only started nine league games since the start of the 2013/14 campaign, with his last appearance for the Reds coming more than a month ago. However despite barely being available for Brendan Rodgers nor Jurgen Klopp, Sturridge is still among Liverpool’s top goalscorers in that time (6 league goals).
