Sevilla became the first team in La Liga history not to have a Spanish player in their starting line-up against Eibar at the weekend.
Jorge Sampaoli’s side instead compromised of six different nationalities from three continents as they laboured to a 1-1 draw against Eibar’s nine-men.
Sevilla fans only had to wait 14 minutes before Sampaoli brought a Spanish player on after Adil Rami was forced off injured, which saw Sergio Escudero’s introduction.
Their draw at the weekend means they are still looking for their first win away from home since May 2015 (vs Malaga).
