Leeds announced on Monday evening the departure of Pontus Jansson in a £5.5m deal to Championship rivals Brentford.
Jansson has spent the last three years at Leeds and quickly established himself as a fan favourite at Elland Road.
Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa, however, has not seen eye-to-eye with the 28-year-old during his time at the club.
Biesla is only interested in team players and believed Jansson thought higher of himself than the rest of the squad.
The Argentine challenged Jansson to cut-short his pre-season holiday after the 2018 World Cup and prove his commitment to the club.
Jansson then defied Bielsa’s instructions to allow Aston Villa to score during their dramatic league encounter in May.
Since August 2016, Jansson has completed at least 19 more clearances than any other defender in the Championship (901).
