Benjamin Stambouli has turned down Paris Saint-Germain’s offer to leave the club this summer, according to Le Parisien, via Get French Football.
The Ligue 1 champions only signed Stambouli from Tottenham last summer but the central midfielder has failed to make any impact at the club.
PSG sporting director Olivier Letang has reportedly informed the Frenchman he is free to leave this summer but that offer has been turned down as he wants to fight for his place under new manager Unai Emery.
Of PSG players that started at least five league matches last season Stambouli garnered the lowest WhoScored.com rating (6.90).
