Tottenham won't sell Liverpool and Barcelona target this summer
Tottenham have no intention of letting club-record signing Tanguy Ndombele leave this summer, despite interest from Premier League rivals Liverpool and LaLiga champions Barcelona, reports The Press Association via TEAMtalk.
The France international joined Spurs with a huge reputation last summer and is still regarded as one of the hottest midfield prospects on the continent, despite a rocky start to life in north London.
Indeed, Ndombele has endured his share of injury and fitness concerns and was publicly criticised by head coach Jose Mourinho in the wake of Spurs' 1-1 draw with Burnley earlier this year.
Barcelona have since been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old and it was rumoured the Blaugrana were willing to throw together a tempting package to convince Spurs to sell the France international, which would see Samuel Umtiti and Nelson Semedo offered in a part-exchange deal.
Premier League leaders Liverpool have also been linked with a shock loan move for Ndombele, who has just 12 Premier League starts following his arrival from Lyon.
However, despite seemingly falling out of favour with Mourinho, Spurs are adamant that Ndombele will not be going anywhere this summer.
