Wolves are poised to sign Ola John on a season-long loan deal from Benfica, according to Dutch newspaper AD, via Football Oranje.
John, 24, has spent the last two years out on loan, including last season at Reading, but now looks set to move to Wolves after his proposed deal to Toulouse fell through.
Since being taken over by Chinese investors, Wolves have been heavily associated with a number of Benfica players and have already signed Helder Costa and Joao Teixeira on loan.
John managed four goals in the Championship last season but was forced to settle with only eight starts. He made a huge 20 appearances from the bench.
