Bordeaux have announced star man Malcom has put pen to paper on a new four-year deal until June 2021.
Malcom has been in irresistible form in Ligue 1 this season and news he has pledged his long-term future is a huge boost for the club.
The 20-year-old joined Bordeaux from Corinthians in January 2016 and will undoubtedly have bigger clubs sniffing around if he can continue his early season form across the remainder of the campaign.
Malcom has played a direct hand in seven goals in seven Ligue 1 appearances this season (three goals, four assists) – no Ligue 1 player has provided more assists.
Furthermore, only Lionel Messi (5) has been named the WhoScored Man of the Match more times than Malcom (4) in Europe’s top five leagues.
