Watford have announced Sebastian Prodl has penned a new four-year deal keeping him at the club until June 2021.
Prodl, 30, still had three years remaining on his previous contract but the Hornets have moved to secure his long-term future.
The Austria international has spent the last two years with Watford after joining from German side Werder Bremen in 2015 and established himself as a first-team regular when available.
Prodl was named Watford’s Player of the Season at the end of last season and will continue to play for the club for the next four seasons.
Of Watford players that have featured in more than one Premier League match this season, Prodl has garnered the highest WhoScored rating (7.32).
