PSG to rival Inter for wantaway Tottenham star

PSG are prepared to rival Inter in the race to sign Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen this month, reports The Mirror.

Eriksen is tipped to leave Tottenham in January, with the Premier League side prepared to sanction his sale this month rather than see him leave on a free in the summer.

Inter are the frontrunners to sign the Dane this month, with reports suggesting Eriksen and the Italian side have agreed personal terms with a mooted £14m deal to be completed sooner rather than later.

However, PSG have emerged as last minute suitors for Eriksen, with the Parisian powerhouse viewing the Denmark international as a bargain buy in January.

Eriksen is free to agree a pre-contract with PSG, too, so it's possible that he could spend the rest of the season with Spurs, who would then lose the creator for nothing later this year.

Eriksen, 27, played the full 90 minutes of Spurs' 2-1 FA Cup third round replay win over Middlesbrough, but appeared to be booed off by supporters in their 1-0 defeat to Liverpool at the weekend.
