Inter have announced Samir Handanovic has signed a new four-year deal keeping him at the San Siro until 2019.
Handanovic, 31, has entered the final six months of his deal at the club but has been in negotiations over his renewal since the end of last year.
The former Slovenia international has been Inter’s No.1 goalkeeper since joining from Udinese in 2012 and he is currently enjoying the best form of his career in the meanest defence in Serie A this season (11).
Moreover, since joining Inter no goalkeeper has saved more penalties than Handanovic (8).
