Leicester City are in talks to sign Inter full-back Yuto Nagatomo, according to Sky Sports News.
The Foxes have begun negotiations with Inter and hope to conclude a deal before Monday’s deadline for a deal reportedly worth £3m.
Nagatomo, who has mainly been used as a left-back, has made 121 league appearances since joining from Cesena in 2011, but has fallen out of favour following the emergence of Juan Jesus in the last two years.
The Japan international has reportedly already undergone a medical at Genoa, but Leicester are still confident of securing his services using the 28-year-old's past relationship with Claudio Ranieri as bait.
