AC Milan legend set for second exit

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to leave AC Milan to pursue managerial opportunities at the end of the season, according to The Daily Mirror.

The Swedish legend returned to Italy in January and made an immediate impact following his January switch as his WhoScored rating (7.22) suggests.

AC Milan's win ratio rises from 31.6% to 57.1% when he starts, so his exit will evidently be a blow for the club.

However, it is believed that Ibrahimovic was unhappy about the sacking of AC Milan's former Chief Football Officer Zvonimir Boban, who played a key role in Ibrahimovic's return to the San Siro.

And Ibrahimovic will reject the opportunity to stay in Milan for another season and elect to instead pursue a career in management.

AC Milan have struggled in Serie A this season as they sit outside of the European spots, even with the forward's return.

Ibrahimovic has scored three goals and registered one assist in his four league outings.
