Belotti signs new Torino deal

Torino have announced Andrea Belotti has signed a new five-year deal keeping him at the club until 2021.

Belotti has been in sublime form for Torino this season and his performances have already seen him linked with a big money move to Arsenal and Liverpool after earning international recognition with Italy.

However, any side outside of Italy will now be inclined to match his staggering €100m (£84m) release clause, which has been included in his new deal.

“I am pleased to tell you that we have renewed the contract with our Belotti until 2021 and we put a release clause, only for foreign countries, 100 million,” Torino’s president Urbano Cairo told the club’s official website.

Only Edin Dzeko and Mauro Icardi (both 12) have scored more goals than Belotti in Serie A this season (10).
