Balotelli pledges to work harder at Milan

Troublesome striker Mario Balotelli is aiming to do his talking on the pitch this season after completing his medical ahead of a season-long loan deal at AC Milan.

Balotelli, 25, has returned to the Italian capital after just 12 months of swapping the red of the Rossoneri for Liverpool.

“I’m please to be back. I’ve little to say. I just need to train hard and show what I can contribute,” Balotelli is quoted as saying by AS.

“Physically, I’m in good shape although I do need to train with the rest of the squad. I’m highly motivated to work hard and talk less.

“I had always hoped to return to Milan. The club has a special place in my heart.”

The Italian hasn’t started a competitive match since April and only managed to score on goal from 16 Premier League appearances last season.
