Donnarumma should leave AC Milan, says agent

Gianluigi Donnarumma should leave AC Milan, says the player’s agent Mino Raiola.

The young goalkeeper is considered one of the best in Europe and came close to leaving the Serie A side last summer, with Real Madrid a rumoured destination.

Donnarumma instead penned a new deal at San Siro, but rumours continue to circulate over a potential exit when the transfer window opens.

And Raiola has added fuel to the fire, with Donnarumma’s agent hinting that a move to another Italian club shouldn’t be ruled out.

“Gigio made a choice and that was to stay at Milan,” Raiola told Rai Sport via Football Italia.

“I respect that. If he told me he wanted to leave though I’d start working immediately, because there are important offers.

“In fact, if you ask me Gigio should leave Milan.

“Where? Maybe abroad, but perhaps in Italy too. I won’t exclude anything.”
