Juventus director confirms Hernanes switch

Juventus have completed a deal to sign Brazilian midfielder Hernanes from rivals Inter for €11m (£8m), the club's sporting director Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side have endured their worst ever start to a league campaign after starting their title defence with back-to-back defeats and have sought reinforcements to plug their porous midfield.

The Bianconeri had been chasing the signature of Julian Draxler until the Germany international opted to sign for Wolfsburg and switched their attentions to Hernanes.

"It's all done now," Marotta told FcInterNews. "Hernanes is a Juventus player. He is coming to Turin in an €11m [£8m] transfer."
