No offers for Bayern Munich wantaway Thiago

Bayern Munich want to sell Thiago as soon as possible so they can kick on their planning for next season, claims BILD.

Thiago has entered the final 12 months of his current Bayern deal and has rejected the club's attempts to renew.

Bayern are desperate to cash in on the 29-year-old this summer rather than lose him on a free transfer next year.

The Bundesliga champions will reluctantly even accept £30m for the Spain international but have not yet received any offers.

Liverpool are the only club currently linked with Thiago but reports of their interest have been downplayed.

Jurgen Klopp's side are only expected to make any notable additions over the summer if there are big name departures but they remain confident of keeping the core of the squad together.

No offers for Bayern Munich wantaway Thiago

Bayern are getting frustrated in their attempts to offload Thiago as he is currently holding back their plans to bring in new players.

Without knowing Thiago's future, in addition to the extra money his sale would bring in, Hansi Flick's side cannot move forward without knowing their budget.

Thiago is regarded as one of the finest technical midfielders in Europe but is criminally underrated in Germany.

Of players that attempted at least 25 dribbles in the Bundesliga this season, Thiago had the best success rate (85.5%).
