Chelsea manager puts rumours of Inter switch to bed

Antonio Conte has ruled out leaving Chelsea for Inter in the summer after revealing he will not manage in Italy again after his time at Stamford Bridge comes to an end.

Inter are reportedly willing to break the bank in order to bring Conte back to his homeland as their new owners desperately look to appoint a manager that can lead the club’s resurgence.

Conte was only made Chelsea manager in the summer after stepping down as Italy manager after Euro 2016 and has all but secured the Blues the Premier League title in his first season in charge.

However, Conte has eased fears at Chelsea that he could cash in on his success in England with a lucrative route back to Italy after ruling out managing in his homeland again.

“In my mind, there is the will to find different experiences in different countries,” The Daily Mail quote Conte as saying ahead of Chelsea’s clash with West Ham on Monday.

“I think it’s fantastic to find these experiences. When I was a footballer, I played only for two teams. Lecce and Juventus. Now I am having this great experience in England, in an amazing league.

“This is my first season away, in a new country, with a new language and new habits, and it’s totally different from my past. For sure, to arrive here is not easy. It’s not easy when you start a season and you a try a different situation.

“If you ask me if my family is missing me, honestly, I have to say yes, they are. It’s not easy to stay alone and live this experience with my family still in Italy. I hope to live this experience with my family next season.”

Chelsea can re-establish their 10-point lead at the top of the Premier League if they can beat London rivals West Ham at the London stadium on Monday evening.

The Blues are only four goals shy of matching the amount they netted in the whole of last season (59).
