Rabiot close to securing Man Utd switch

Manchester United are set to sign Adrien Rabiot following his release from Juventus, reports Goal.com.

Rabiot's contract with the Old Lady expired at the end of June and Juventus were happy to allow the France international to leave following five years in Turin.

And the French midfielder has since been linked with a Premier League switch, with United, Arsenal and Liverpool all linked with a move for Rabiot.

However, it appears as though United have won the race to sign the 29-year-old, two years after making a move for the former Juventus man.

United are prepared to clear the ranks in midfield, with Casemiro and Scott McTominay both free to leave for the right fee this summer.

Mason Mount is another who may yet depart in the off-season despite joining from Chelsea 12 months ago for £55m.

Rabiot started five of France's six matches at Euro 2024 on their way to a semi-final exit at the hands of eventual winners Spain.

United have already secured the services of Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro this summer, the latter featuring in their 2-0 pre-season friendly win over Rangers on Saturday.
