Tottenham target Fraser to snub short-term Bournemouth deal
Ryan Fraser is set to leave Bournemouth when his current deal expires at the end of June, claims The Sun.
Bournemouth have a number of player contracts set to expire on June 30 but the likes of Andrew Surman and Charlie Daniels will agree a short-term deal to help the Cherries finish the season.
Eddie Howe's side will resume the 2019/20 Premier League campaign in the bottom three on goal difference but Fraser is set to adandon ship before the season has finished.
Despite the fact Fraser's reputation on the pitch has fallen dramatically this season, the Scotland international could be one of the most in-demand players this summer.
The Coronavirus pandemic is expected to shrink every manager's budget for the summer, with some forced to work on free agents and loan signings exclusively.
Crystal Palace are already interested in signing the Bournemouth winger, while Tottenham have also been heavily linked with Fraser.
Even if Fraser does leave Bournemouth on July 1, however, he won't be able to play for another team until next season.
The 26-year-old was tipped for a high profile move at the end of last season after scoring seven times and registering 14 assists in the Premier League.
Bournemouth dug their heels in over his departure in hope he would pledge his long-term future to the club but that has backfired.
Fraser's playing time has reduced as a result and he has only managed a direct hand in five goals in 28 league games so far this season.
