Manchester City summer signing already considering his future
Danilo is considering his Manchester City future just four months after joining, claims The Sun.
Pep Guardiola signed Danilo from Real Madrid in a deal worth £26.5m in the summer after missing out on Dani Alves’ signature to Paris Saint-Germain.
Danilo was signed to provide competition with fellow summer signing Kyle Walker but has struggled for game time and is now reportedly considering his future at the club.
The 26-year-old fears a lack of playing time will cost him a place in Brazil’s squad for the 2018 World Cup and a January move could now beckon for the versatile defender.
Danilo has slipped down the pecking order for Brazil since the end of the 2014/15 campaign. In fact, he has only earned two caps since September 2015 and it’s unlikely he will return to favour if things continue as they are at City.
The Brazilian has only started eight matches across all competitions this season and has been forced to play a variety of positions.
