Swansea City have announced they have agreed to part ways with striker Michu by mutual consent.
Michu, 29, has barely featured for the Swans since his stunning debut campaign in the Premier League back in 2012.
Garry Monk’s side had hoped to sell the striker over the summer, but have now agreed to release the Spaniard from the remaining six months of his contract.
In fact, only four players scored more goals than Michu (18) in his debut campaign in the Premier League. However, the Spaniard has only made 17 league appearances since.
