Everton already dipped into the lower leagues to sign Ademola Lookman from Charlton in January and the Toffees are now interested in rivalling Tottenham for Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon, according to The Daily Mirror.
The 16-year-old became the first player born in the year 2000 to score in the Championship when he found the back of the net just one three minutes into his second ever senior appearance against Cardiff back in August.
Sessegnon, who has already been likened to Ashley Cole, was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham in the January transfer window and is now on the radar of Everton.
Steve Walsh, the club’s new director of football, attended Fulham’s 3-1 win over Preston at the weekend and would have been impressed by what he saw from the left-back.
The Fulham teenager has made 17 appearances in the Championship this season and has impressively scored or assisted four goals from full-back.
