Manchester United are readying a £15m bid to sign West Ham left-back Aaron Cresswell, according to The Sun.
Louis van Gaal’s side will be without Luke Shaw for at least six months as he recovers from a broken leg sustained in their 2-1 defeat to PSV in the Champions League last week.
United are already well equipped to temporarily fill the void left by Shaw with Marcus Rojo, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian all capable of playing there.
However, Van Gaal is reportedly seizing up an offer for Cresswell, who has impressed since joining West Ham last summer.
In fact, since the start of last season only a handful of defenders has delivered more accurate crosses (excluding corners) than the West Ham full-back (27).
