Leicester eye move for La Liga defender

Leicester City are already preparing for life in the Champions League and have earmarked Sporting Gijon defender Luis Hernandez as one of many signings in the summer, according to The Daily Mirror.

Hernandez, 27, spent nine years in the Real Madrid academy before moving to Gijon in 2012 and the Spanish central defender has proven an important player for Abelardo Fernandez’s side this season.

The 27-year-old have been in negotiations with Real Betis with a move in the summer but the defender has reportedly cancelled talks and is hopeful of securing a switch to Leicester instead.
