Barcelona have made an initial approach with Serge Aurier’s representatives about a summer move, according to Canal +, via Get French Football.
Aurier, 23, still has three years remaining on his existing deal with Paris Saint-Germain but his future at the club has been thrown into doubt in recent times following a series of incidents that have attracted unfavourable attention on the Ligue 1 champions.
Luis Enrique’s side are reportedly still keen to sign a right-back with Aleix Vidal’s future seemingly away from the club and they appear to have earmarked Aurier as a possible candidate to add competition with Sergi Roberto on the right side of their defence.
Since the start of last season only three players complete more tackles and interceptions per game in Ligue 1 than Aurier (6.7), which is far more than any Barcelona player has managed in the last two La Liga seasons (Sergio Busquets - 4.7).
