Manchester City have entered the race for highly rated Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar, reports French publication RMC Sport.
France international Aouar has attracted plenty of interest from across Europe having exploded onto the scene in 2017.
And Manchester City are the latest to register their interest in Aouar, who has been courted by Serie A powerhouse Juventus.
City are looking to bolster their midfield in the off-season with David Silva departing and doubts over Ilkay Gundogan's future at the club, despite penning a new deal last August.
Aouar's form may have tailed off in recent seasons after breaking onto the scene, but that has not damaged his reputation with a host of teams still showing an interest in the 21-year-old.
Aouar has three goals and four assists to his name in Ligue 1 this season, yielding a WhoScored rating of 7.02 in the process.
Having commanded in excess of £50m for Tanguy Ndombele last summer, Lyon can demand a higher fee for Aouar should any side firm up their interest in the youngster.
