Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement with Rosario Central for young creator Giovani Lo Celso in a deal worth between €10.5m and £13m (£8.3m – £10.2m), according to Le Parisien, via Get French Football.
Lo Celso, 20 has made a promising start to the season with Rosario and his early displays have attracted the attention of the Ligue 1 champions, who are close to agreeing personal terms with the striker.
Laurent Blanc’s side will pay an initial £8.3m to Rosario and will be liable to cough up nearly £3m in performance related bonuses.
The young argentine forward has played a direct hand in seven league goals in 13 appearances this season (two goals, five assists), but his defensive contribution is also a notable trait in his game.
In fact, Lo Celso has completed more tackles in the Argentinean top-flight than any other attacker this season (37).
