AC Milan to rival Arsenal for Real Betis star

Arsenal would face competition from Serie A outfit AC Milan in any race to sign Nabil Fekir from Real Betis, reports Spanish publication Marca.

Fekir only moved to the Spanish side from Lyon last summer and has enjoyed a solid debut campaign in Spain.

Indeed, the 26-year-old is currently Real Betis' top rated player with a WhoScored rating of 7.39 having scored seven and assisted three goals for the LaLiga outfit.

However, both Arsenal and AC Milan are hoping to convince Real Betis to part ways with Fekir this summer with the duo looking to land the attacker.

Despite Fekir's best efforts, though, Real Betis sit 12th in LaLiga this season and a sub-par campaign may see the former Lyon man seek a move away from Spain.

Arsenal have previously been credited with an interest in Fekir and may pursue the player once again if they are able to shift Mesut Ozil on, with the Gunners and the German yet to initiate talks over a new deal.

Fekir has eight WhoScored man of the match awards to his name this season, that second only to Lionel Messi (13) in LaLiga.
