The agents of Julian Weigl have offered the midfielder’s services to Real Madrid, according to AS.
Weigl, 21, only signed a new five-year deal before Christmas but is reportedly open to the idea of joining the European champions in the future.
Madrid, who have reportedly been given the greenlight to make a move in 2018, will face strong competition from the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona also understood to be interested in the midfielder’s services.
The Germany international is regarded as one of the most exciting young midfielders in Europe and would help Madrid ease the transition when it comes to finding a long-term for 31-year-old Luka Modric.
Only Thiago (1184) has completed more accurate passes in the Bundesliga this season than Weigl (1012).
