Everton face competition from Arsenal for Juventus midfielder
Everton will face competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal in any race to sign Adrien Rabiot from Juventus, reports Le10 Sport.
Rabiot has been heavily linked with a summer exit from the Serie A powerhouse and Everton are believed to have held talks over a possible move for the France international.
The midfielder and Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti worked together at PSG and the latter would be eager to reunite with Rabiot at Goodison Park.
However, Everton may yet have to battle with Arsenal for the 25-year-old, who has struggled for game time under Maurizio Sarri following his move to Juventus from PSG last summer.
Indeed, Rabiot has made just 11 league starts for the Old Lady, though their win ratio rises from 66.7% to 90.9% when he does start.
Arsenal are looking to make sweeping alterations to their squad this summer, with a centre-back one of their priorities in the off-season.
The Gunners have been linked with moves for Samuel Umtiti and Manuel Akanji today, despite the January loan arrival of Pablo Mari.
