French champions keen on Liverpool striker

French giants PSG are ready to make a move for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge, reports the Sunday Mirror.

The England international has lost his place in the starting XI under manager Jurgen Klopp and has made just five Premier League starts this season.

A January exit was mooted, though Klopp refuted any speculation linking the frontman with an Anfield departure, but Sturridge is widely expected to leave Merseyside at the end of the campaign.

West Ham and Stoke are believed to be readying moves for the 27-year-old, despite his injury woes, with the duo eager to bring Sturridge to the London Stadium and Bet365 Stadium, respectively.

PSG, however, have emerged as surprise contenders for his signature, though would be more inclined to take Sturridge on loan rather than permanently given his time on the sidelines in recent months.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool would sanction a loan sale, with the Reds valuing the striker at £30m, regardless of a lack of game time.
