Palace told to pay €10m for Rincon

Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has told Crystal Palace they must match the club’s €10m (£8.5m) valuation to sign Tomas Rincon.

Palace are looking to add another central midfielder to their squad before the transfer window closes on Wednesday night and will step up their interest in Rincon if they fail to sign Jack Wilshere on loan from Arsenal.

Preziosi also revealed that Genoa would sign Juventus midfielder Hernanes on a season-long loan deal should they lose Rincon to the Premier League.

“If Crystal Palace agree to our request of €10m (£8.5m) for Rincon, then we have a tentative agreement with Juventus for Hernanes on loan,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport, via Football Italia.

Of players that have attempted at least 75 dribbles in the last three Serie A seasons no player has a higher dribble success than Rincon (74.2%).
