Atletico Madrid left-back Guilherme Siqueira is not looking to leave the Vicente Calderon in January amid suggestions he could leave in the winter transfer market.
Siqueira, 29, has fallen down the pecking order since Filipe Luis re-joined Diego Simone’s side over the summer.
The Brazilian left-back has only made 1 start in La Liga this season, but hasn’t even thought about leaving.
“I don’t really pay a lot of attention to these things,” he is quoted as saying in Marca. “I’m used to hearing my name mentioned as soon as the transfer window opens.
“I work hard and focus on the job at hand. I know that. I have the club and the coach’s full backing. By putting their faith in me, they know that I’ll be ready whenever they need me.”
Only four Atletico players completed more crosses per game in La Liga last season than Siqueira (0.8).
