Milan keen to cash in on striker

Milan are prepared to listen to offers of around €20m for striker Carlos Bacca this summer, reports Tuttosport via Calciomercato.com.

The Colombian hitman has been on the books at San Siro since 2015 and has scored 31 goals in that time, while a conversion rate of 23.3% is second only to Mauro Icardi (24.1%) since August 2015 of players to have scored 20 or more goals in that time.

Bacca came close to leaving AC Milan last summer after West Ham lodged a bid for the 30-year-old, only for the striker to opt against a move to the London Stadium.

However, AC Milan’s capture of Andre Silva threatens to push Bacca down the pecking order for Vincenzo Montella’s side, while the Italian outfit are looking to recoup as much money as possible following a busy summer in the transfer market.

Arsenal, Everton, Marseille and Sevilla are all rumoured to be keen on securing the striker’s services, while West Ham may renew their interest in Bacca over the coming weeks.

Bacca, who scored more league goals (13) than any other AC Milan player last season, has struggled to adjust to Montella’s demands in attack, with the Italian at times favouring Gianluca Lapadula as the lead striker last season.
