Manchester City have been served a huge blow ahead of their Champions League curtain raiser against Juventus after confirming Sergio Aguero will miss Tuesday’s match at the Etihad.
Aguero was forced off just 25 minutes into City’s 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday after feeling the full force of a heavy tackle from Scott Dann and Manuel Pellegrini’s side have since confirmed their worst fears.
The Premier League leaders have, however, confirmed Raheem Sterling, Samir Nasri, Fernandinho and David Silva are in contention for the match after recovering well from injuries picked up over the weekend.
