Arsenal are yet to decide whether to pursue a move for Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino, according to Sky Sports.
The Gunners have explored the conditions of a deal, but have not yet taken the decision to go through with attempting to completing the signing of the 28-year-old.
Merino starred for La Real in La Liga last season, earning the best WhoScored rating (7.18) of any central midfielder in the division.
The midfielder was the hero in Spain’s dramatic quarter-final victory over Germany at Euro 2024, and went on to lift the trophy.

Merino has now entered the final year of his contract in Spain, and reports suggest that he could be available for around €30 million this summer.
