Juventus working on summer deal for Premier League midfielder

Juventus are pushing to sign Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer at the end of the season, claims Gianluca Di Marzio.

Ramsey will only have six months left to run on his current Arsenal deal next month and will be free to agree a Bosman transfer with foreign clubs.

A host of European giants have already been heavily linked with a move for the Wales international, including Bayern Munich and most recently Inter.

Manchester United and Chelsea are also interested in the 27-year-old but Juventus are now reportedly making a big push for his services.

Juventus have a long history of snapping up high profile players on free transfers and want to add Ramsey to the list.

Ramsey is not the only creative midfielder Juventus are monitoring, as the Serie A giants have been alerted to the potential availability of Real Madrid ace Isco.

The Spain international has dropped out of favour at Madrid this season after struggling to rediscover his best form and fitness but Ramsey represents a much cheaper option.

Ramsey has made 15 Premier League appearances this season but has only started seven games in that time. Despite lacking continuity on the pitch, Ramsey has still played a direct hand in seven league goals this term.

In fact, only Eden Hazard (9), Ryan Fraser (8) and Leroy Sane (7) have registered more assists than Ramsey in the Premier League this season (6).
