Crystal Palace to battle West Ham for Bournemouth ace
West Ham face competition from Crystal Palace for Bournemouth midfielder Harry After in January, reports The Daily Mirror.
New West Ham manager David Moyes has identified Arter as the ideal midfielder to help bolster his options ahead of the second half of the season.
Moyes has already bemoaned the fact West Ham do not work hard enough during matches and Arter, an industrious midfielder, would certainly fit the profile Moyes wants.
However, the Hammers can expect to face competition from Palace, who are also looking to bolster their chances of survival with the signing of Arter.
The 27-year-old only signed a new four-year deal with Bournemouth in June but that hasn’t deterred Palace and West Ham from expressing an interest in the Ireland international.
In the last three Premier League campaigns, only three players have been booked more times than Arter (21).
