Chelsea sensation Eden Hazard has revealed that he wants to work under current Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho again.
Hazard played under Mourinho during their two-and-a-half years together at Chelsea, before the latter’s dismissal at Stamford Bridge in December 2015.
The Belgian played a key role in Chelsea’s title triumph in the 2014/15 season and has admitted he regrets how their time together ended and that he’d want to play under the Portuguese manager once more.
“The last season under Mourinho was not pleasant anymore. We didn’t win, we got into a sort of routine, training-training without having fun, it was better for all parties that the collaboration came to an end," Hazard told Belgian newspaper HLN.
"If I’m now asked one coach with whom I want to work again, then I say: Mourinho.”
“I do not regret many things in my career, but that I have not been able to work with Mourinho at Chelsea anymore [is one]. We had a team to get a lot of prizes, but we just ended up in a negative spiral.”
Hazard has been in stunning form for an unbeaten Chelsea side this term, with his WhoScored rating (8.15) better than any other Premier League player this season.
The 27-year-old will come up against Mourinho’s Manchester United side when Chelsea welcome them to Stamford Bridge next weekend.
