Erik Pieters has committed his future to Stoke City, the club has confirmed.
The Dutch left-back has been rewarded for his fine form this term, with the 27-year-old extending his spell at the Britannia Stadium until 2020.
"I can look forward to a bright future here now. I love being here, I have enjoyed it from the moment I first arrived and I think we will only continue to grow stronger together," Pieters told the club's official website.
"From the moment we sat down to discuss a possible contract I really wanted to get it all sorted as soon as possible."
Only Lucas Leiva (70) and N'Golo Kante (68) have made more tackles in the Premier League this season than Pieters (66).
