Spurs willing to sell flop summer signing

Tottenham are prepared to bin off big money summer arrival Moussa Sissoko at the end of the season, reports French publication L’Equipe.

Sissoko was a deadline day arrival at White Hart Lane for a club record £30m from Newcastle, yet has failed to make an impact for the club.

The 27-year-old has made just six league starts since his big money arrival to gain a WhoScored rating of just 6.48, one of the worst returns for the Premier League giants.

Spurs are now willing to listen to offers for there France international in the summer as they look to get the big money arrival off the wage books.

They are, however, unlikely to recoup the £30m they paid to secure Sissoko’s services, with the club expected to take a cash hit on the midfielder.

Everton were close to signing Sissoko before Spurs swooped for his signature, though they are unlikely to renew their interest in the former Newcastle man.
