Wolves interested in signing Real Madrid youngster

 

Wolves are interested in signing young Real Madrid midfielder Oscar Rodriguez this summer, reports Mundo Deportivo. 

 

The 21-year-old is currently on loan with LaLiga counterparts Leganes and has become a key man for the relegation-threatened Spanish side having scored seven and registered two assists this term. 

 

His good form has attracted interest from across the continent, with Lazio another who have been monitoring his situation in Spain. 

 

Wolves are looking into the possibility of bringing in Rodriguez to strengthen their attack, but his potential arrival would certainly heighten speculation surrounding Adama Traore's future at the club. 

 

The Spanish winger has been heavily linked with a move to Premier League trio Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City, while European heavyweights Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have also been credited with an interest in Traore.

However, Wolves have supposedly set an asking price of £133m for the 24-year-old in a bid to deter potential suitors. 

 

Rodriguez impressed on his most recent league outing before the suspension of LaLiga due to the Coronavirus pandemic, earning his third WhoScored man of the match award of the season in Leganes' 2-1 win at Villarreal.
